Combined Power/LDR Board 1
Screw terminal blocks are used for all wiring except Signal Connections, Selector Switch, Potentiometer and LDR board Diodes GND point.
Signal Wires
Use good quality copper wire. Mogami make inexpensive 4 core microphone wire that adds no colouration to signal.
Tip: Strip the outer casing and copper shield wire off and use blue for signal and clear for return path and grounding circuitry.
Thin signal wires can be mounted on top and thick wire such as Duelund 16WG can be soldered into the large ferules below the board.
START and FINISH potentiometers 20k to 50k multi turn preferable
240V 12v/12v toroidal transformer is available from Jaycar.
Grounding 2
Correct grounding is CRITICAL for optimum performance. Follow the circuit EXACTLY.
WARNING: The Toroidal transformer requires experience and and knowledge of safety regulations for installing and wiring 240v before installing.
